Be careful, we prepaid them to pick us up at the airport and bring us back for our departure. We had to find our own transportation both ways. They don’t answer their phone for a reason. Our concierge called them, as it is a local number they answered and told him they only answer customers concerns via email. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more fraudulent credit card activities on the way, so we stopped our card and disputed the charges.
First and last time. They respond emails and voicemails very late. They don’t provide you with the necessary information to achieve a good experience. They keep you in a stressful stage. They try to help you but lack professionalism and respect for your time and money. This is no way to help you plan a vacation. Vacations should be a time to relax and not chase your travel agent. Might us well wing it.
After my bad experience with Dominican Tours I decided that I will not drive all over the city to locate an agency offering excursions another time. The website, etc looked promising hence I visited their office. The office itself is big but the employees seem not to be very motivated to get some clients as I was being sent to the last office and upon my request which excursions are possible the same week they told me that there are none which are confirmed yet and they need at least 10 clients for each excursion to happen at all. Taking my experiences into account I decided not to waste more time and was looking for a different company. And it definately was not a communication problem as I speak spanish fluently.
