Batismo no Mar

This sea diving experience offers participants an introductory dive, allowing them to explore the underwater world in a safe and supervised environment. The session begins with a brief theoretical and practical explanation covering diving concepts, equipment use, diving techniques, and underwater communication. Following this, participants take part in the practical portion, diving from a boat under the guidance of experienced instructors. The dive typically takes place around the Vila Franca do Campo Islet Natural Reserve, including the historic 16th-century shipwreck canyons, where the abundant marine flora and fauna create an unforgettable and captivating underwater adventure.

The activity lasts approximately three hours and can be scheduled in the morning or afternoon, either on predefined dates or arranged according to participant availability. Participants must be at least ten years old and able to swim confidently to take part. All necessary diving equipment is provided, along with comprehensive activity insurance that includes up to 20 million EUR in civil liability coverage. This experience is designed to ensure maximum safety, comfort, and enjoyment while giving participants a memorable opportunity to discover the wonders of the ocean.
