Snorkeling

This snorkeling experience offers participants the opportunity to explore the ocean in a safe and supervised environment. Conducted from a boat, the activity allows guests to enjoy the marine life and natural surroundings at a relaxed pace. The session begins with a brief theoretical introduction covering basic concepts of freediving, equipment usage, and swimming techniques. Following this, participants receive both classroom and practical guidance on freediving procedures suitable for beginners, preparing them for the hands-on portion in the water. The practical snorkeling takes place around the Vila Franca do Campo Islet Natural Reserve, including the historic 16th-century shipwreck canyons, offering a unique and fascinating underwater experience.

The activity is scheduled for half a day, either in the morning or afternoon, and can be organized on predefined dates or arranged according to participant preferences. Participants are required to know how to swim, ensuring safety and confidence during the activity. All necessary snorkeling equipment is provided, along with activity insurance that includes up to 20 million EUR in civil liability coverage. The experience is designed to maximize comfort, safety, and enjoyment while giving guests an opportunity to discover the wonders of the underwater world.
