The Vila Franca Islet Nature Reserve is situated on the south coast of São Miguel Island, within the municipality of Vila Franca do Campo in the Azores. This small volcanic islet lies approximately 500 meters from the mainland coast and about 1200 meters from Vila Marina, where our base is located.
