The Vila Franca Islet Nature Reserve is situated on the south coast of São Miguel Island, within the municipality of Vila Franca do Campo in the Azores. This small volcanic islet lies approximately 500 meters from the mainland coast and about 1200 meters from Vila Marina, where our base is located. Known as one of the most popular local tourist attractions, the islet draws visitors from near and far, offering a unique glimpse into the natural beauty and geological history of the region. Its volcanic origins and scenic surroundings make it a remarkable destination for sightseeing and nature enthusiasts alike.

Our Islet Tour provides an immersive experience through a guided boat trip around the reserve.
