Hi there! Mary and Kathleen were the best hosts ever! We stayed three nights. Very large pitch area in amongst Christmas trees and amazing backdrop of the widow hills and mountains. Anything we needed Mary and Kathleen helped us with. Wicklow Way Camping is for those that enjoy great scenery, quiet, clean facilities including toilets, kitchen sauna and surrounding grounds. Plenty of room for large tents and trailer tents. Very reasonably priced also Close to roundwood village with excellent restaurants and activities. Thanks guys! Phil.

My girlfriend and I went to the area to watch the meteor shower. We called when it was already closed, but a receptionist kindly picked up the phone and told us we could stay overnight and pay the following morning. The lady was very kind to us. Once inside, we camped in the semi-wild area and it was magnificent. I would 100% recommend it.

We spent two nights at Wicklow Way Camping, and what an experience it was. Mary was so helpful allowing us to book at the last min in " semi wild " camping area. it was lovely and quiet our tent area, it was a little walk to the facilities [cooking & toilets] which were cleaned and maintained to a high standard. it was our first time camping with the kids and I would highly recommend it! Lovely setting and close to glendalough. Had a sauna which you can use for €15 euro pp - was lovely. Overall €40 for pitch - overpriced! No proper pitches available - they had grass in ‘Christmas tree farm’ - sloping grass with rocks as well not great for pitching and at least 3 min walk to facilities. Also only two toilets and ALWAYS a queue to use not enough for amount of people. Two showers - €1 for 3 mins and had signs up asking for people to only pay for the 3min shower as limited water.. had to pay to access hob or microwave. No utensils available either. Overall nice area, sauna great addition and good location. Overpriced for what it is and stingy with access to electric / toilets / proper pitches.

What a beautiful campsite. I loved every minute of it. I can't wait to return already. We finished our stay using the Sauna and cold plunge amongst the trees. It was stunning. Mary at reception from start to finish was amazing too. So helpful and friendly and made our stay so welcoming. Thank you 😊
