This was an AMAZING choice for a jeep tour. Ross was outgoing, knowledgeable and took us to many off the beaten track places that none of the bigger jeep tours go to as well as the more famous places. When we got into the car after he picked us up, we didn’t really know exactly what we wanted, but with the time frame we had and our basic but opposing needs (me: small cute towns and cliffs, andrew: majestic mountains) - Ross created a perfect itinerary that made both of us very happy. We learned so much about the history of Madeira and its ecology from him- he is a veritable wealth of information Also he wanted to make sure we saw everything we wanted to see, and so extended the tour. He also sent a follow up email with google maps that bookmarked his recommendations of other places we could go and the best routes to drive to on our own Overall, this experience could not have been better and I highly, HIGHLY recommend
Firstly, where do we begin? Maybe let's start with the customer service which was warm, friendly and professional. The two day tour we had booked was merged into a one day tour to meet both of our requirements. Ross arrived as promised and our days tour was thoroughly explained to us and what we were likely to expect. On setting off both my wife Sarah and I grinned excitedly as Ross enthusiastically began our tour with commentary and extensive knowledge of the island and it's history. Ross took us to some incredible places such as Porto de Sol, Ribeira da Janela and many other beautiful places with such incredible scenery. Ross explained comprehensive detail about all the locations we visited and although he was our guide and driver it felt like we were with a really good friend. All this took place in his immaculate retro Suzuki jeep. He clearly takes pride in offering the best service to his clients nothing was too much trouble. He even became our personal photographer! Thank you. 🙂 If we one day we return we would definitely book another tour with Ross as it was absolutely first class...and Sarah can give you her fancy map 😉😄 Thank you again Ross for a wonderful day, this will stay with us forever. What can we say! Ross was the perfect tour guide, tourist information, local guru and all round nice guy. Anyone looking for a truly bespoke, personalised private tour, then without doubt Ross is your man. Prompt, polite, friendly and very knowledgeable, we are so pleased we read the reviews and opted for Ross. The jeep was very comfy with forward facing seats and felt very comfortable at all times.

What an amazing trip Ross told us many interesting facts about the area and Madeira. The Pico do Areeiro was clouded & as Ross isn’t able to control the weather he adapted our tour to experience alternative sights we hadn’t visited previously. These places we thoroughly enjoyed!
