Experience the captivating world of Pablo Picasso on a guided tour beginning at the Fossar de les Moreres, where you will meet your guide for a short and pleasant walk to the Picasso Museum in Barcelona. Explore the history of the museum, which started in the Palau Aguilar and gradually expanded to include five palaces built between the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. Learn about Picasso’s artistic evolution from his early youth to his later years, including his influential period in Barcelona. Discover how the museum, the first created during the artist’s lifetime, provides an in-depth understanding of his life, work, and the creative process that made him one of the most important artists of the twentieth century. Experience the extensive collection of over three thousand five hundred works, including the most complete collection of his early works, and appreciate the five distinct artistic periods: the blue, pink, cubist, neoclassical, and surrealist phases.

Discover a contemporary contrast by visiting the Moco Museum, located just next to the Picasso Museum, where you can explore modern and provocative artworks at your own pace. Experience the creativity of artists such as Banksy, Kaws, Andy Warhol, and Jean-Michel Basquiat, all displayed within the historic Cervelló Palace, a building that has housed aristocrats merchants and royalty from the Middle Ages until the twentieth century. Explore how the museum offers visitors a unique perspective on modern society through thought-provoking art. Learn to appreciate both classical and contemporary works in a single cultural experience, combining the depth of Picasso’s genius with the vibrant and reflective expressions of modern art, making this a perfect journey for all art lovers seeking inspiration and understanding.

Amazing museum, It was thrilling to see Salvador Dali art work and other great artists like Bansky. The artworks were enlightening and impressive. By the way, by mistake we booked for Amsterdam museum instead of Barcelona, but they were so sweet and let us in. If you love art, don’t mess it.

A really pleasant surprise to visit the MOCO museum in Barcelona when visiting for Mr Two Table’s birthday - exhibits from the likes of Mungo Thomson, KAWS, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring, Robbie Williams (yes, *that* Robbie Williams!) and even some original Banksy pieces! We missed the exhibition when it was originally in Amsterdam, and were so glad to stumble upon it in BCN. The gallery was pleasantly quiet for a Saturday in (what we considered would be) peak winter holiday season, which gave us the opportunity to explore leisurely and appreciate the works in front of us. Down an unassuming side street (aren’t all the best places?), we’d certainly not hesitate in trusting our gut and paying to go to an exhibition here the next time we’re in Barcelona. Pro-tip: you can almost always get a discount on tickets by buying ahead online, even if it’s only by a few minutes - we scored 2-4-1 tickets upon arrival and just wandered down the street to get a coffee until our entry time rolled round!

Quite visually pleasant museum. Appreciate the audio guides that help understand the artists a bit better. However the exhibition is quite small. Most of the rooms are not specious enough for the amount of visitors so it feels cramped . I am a fan of Spanish artists - and think it would be way better to include more of their works. Overall, one time experience and if you really want to see the reproductions - visit, if not sure - I would skip.

A Very interesting museum, with many beautiful Pieces of art. Including two rooms with didactic and fun art. Discount codes or offers can easily be found in Instagram. Like 2 ticket for the price of one. This museum is small, so it is a fast visit. Maybe a total of 7 or 8 rooms in total.

This was my highlight of my trip, it was not planned but I've made sure I took the chance to visit and it did not disappoint. I love the whole museum, the beginning of the museum was a tad empty but as moved on to the upstairs...wow it was lovely and mesmerising. I took tons of photos. This place is highly recommended, take time to look at my photos and see for yourself.

I am sorry. The guide seemes knoleadgeable. However, she insisted on speaking Spanish to three children in a group of 21 English speakers doubling the time. She dismissed complaints until 5 of us insister shoping the tickets where ENGLISH was stated as sole language. I am all for introduction art to children, create a specific tour and state it will be multilingual.

Our guide was so knowledgeable and prepared. He had examples on his phone to show the comparisons he was making. He was a true scholar of Picasso but presented his vast knowledge in a very relatable manner. I am not the sure the Moco was worth the additional cost.
