I was looking for an unusual experience to celebrate my 70th Birthday when I came across this activity. WHAT A WONDEROUS EXPERIENCE. Everything about it was truly amazing. I originally booked the 1 hr. cruise for 1 pm but reconsidered given the hot time of year and missing out on the change from daylight to dark. Alan (the owner) was fabulous from the greeting to the food to the champagne to the chocolates to the red rose. An all around fantastic, fabulous experience. Forget Venice. The Swan River Gondola was second to none. Well done. Do yourself a favour for once in your life. Cheers
Happy with the experience. Alan was communicative and pleasant to deal with, though I agree with another reviewer that the experience can be personalised a little more to help the riders settle in. The seats in the gondola are somewhat worn. The music was perfect for the occasion and calming. Gliding along the Swan River with the skyline in the background is magical. This is a experience that will never be forgotten, thank you for allowing it to happen!
We had a lovely experience on the gondola with my sisters this weekend. The weather was conducive and no major bumps experienced. Our gondolier was friendly and did check on us at the end if we had a nice time. I would like to recommend the below to upgrade the Gondola experience to a 5* 1. Whilst our Gondolier was truly friendly, l think there were missed opportunities to go an extra mile for customer experience, e.g a more detailed welcome, a brief explanation of what will happen, the route/where we will stop, best spots for pictures, to offer to take pictures etc. 2. The gondala itself is lovely but the curtains are due for replacement as they are old and run down. 3. We came with our own wine but there was no place to put it or the glasses on so we had to return with it unopened.
