Customer Reviews

Artzone are so easy to deal with and their customer service is amazing. My daughter absolutely loves these classes and it brings out so much confidence and enjoyment in her. Thank you artzone for being great!

This class really is throwing money!!!! SO DISAPPOINTING!!! My son was enrolled in the junior class and came with 2 drawings after 8 classes (€17.50 each class). A blind robbery When I called surprised by this their response was allusive and said that they learn about painting/drawing/colour mixing etc, but if they do they surely should have lots of work that demonstrates what they have been learning. It’s an art class for gods sake. It’s an art class and for a 5.5 year old child if they don’t do practical work how on earth will they learn theory of art, which allegedly is what they were doing. I am shocked!! And the response of the staff was very dismissive. They really don’t care! This class really is throwing money!!!! SO DISAPPOINTING!!!

Last week I booked my 7 year old son into one of your Artzone’s Summer Camps. He was really looking forward to it but I’ve had to tell him we’ll have to do a different one. I received a phone call yesterday to say I had put down that my son spends sometime with an SNA at school for support. I innocently put this down on the form as it asked and thought nothing if it. He goes to an SNA for help with reading and forming letters. Other than that, there is nothing that would require him to have extra assistance or attention in the Art Class. The woman preceded to arrogantly tell me “SNA’s are not for reading,” implying there must be something deeper wrong with my son that I was not telling her. She then went on to tell me that they, “don’t usually take “them.” “Them,”meaning children who go to an SNA in school. She eventually said my son could attend the first day of the art class and they would “see from there,” if he could continue. I was speechless at this woman’s manner, gall, and ignorance. I immediately said my son wouldn’t be attending and that I would like a refund to which she happily agreed. My son has attended many art classes and summer camps and never has this been raised. My son goes to an SNA an hour a day during his normal school day in a National Primary School. Why was he excluded from your class? The awful thing is attitudes like this will make parents whose child attends a school SNA hide the fact. Does Artzone think that every child who goes to an SNA is incapable of attending their Class? Do they think any child who has an SNA is incapable of enjoying and behaving in their class? Do they think kids that do attend SNAs are all some kind of trouble? There is a myriad of reasons why a child may need an SNA for support. Exclusion through baseless ignorance is a sad and shocking reflection on Artzone. If Artzone could be this ignorant may I suggest they should not be working with children, or for that fact, teaching Art.
