A Truly Magical Wine Experience in Tenerife! Our visit to Bodega Frontos was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip to Tenerife. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the breathtaking volcanic landscape and the warm, welcoming atmosphere of this family-run gem. Our guide, Carlos, was exceptional. As a third-generation member of the family, his passion and deep knowledge of the winery's history made the guided tour both fascinating and deeply personal. We loved exploring the contrast between the charming traditional cellar from 1949 and the impressive modern production facilities. The wine tasting itself was superb. We were treated to a generous selection of their award-winning wines, including the Frontos Blanco Ecológico, which is an absolute must-try. Everything was perfectly paired with delicious local cheeses and snacks, making for a truly authentic Canarian experience. A special mention must also go to the adorable vineyard dogs who greeted us with wagging tails—they added such a lovely, homey touch to the visit! If you are looking for an intimate, high-quality, and authentic winery tour away from the main tourist crowds, Bodega Frontos is the place to go. Highly recommended!

This winery is worth visiting. If you only visit one place in Tenerife, make it this one. I have loved their wines (specifically Blanco Seco Ecológico) for over ten years. It used to be available in my favorite restaurants, but unfortunately, they have less and less of it... So this year, I decided to visit Carlos with my family and buy a small supply directly from him. If you do the same, you will see a large winery with a beautiful garden and hear the authentic story of how the wine is made. How the climate is changing, how the vineyard's yield has fallen to an eighth, how it suffers from drought, how his grandfather planted the vines (the wine is from 77-year-old vines!), how the highest vineyard in Europe (located at an altitude of 1,700 meters above sea level) can only be worked by hand without mechanization... And you will understand that €15 per bottle is still too little. And for those who are hesitating whether the short trip is worth it, here is one personal experience: if you want to enjoy a good bottle of wine on the island, don't think you can get it at the supermarket (and even cheaper). I tried it honestly and without success ;-)

Lovely family-owned winery that offers canarian wine and tours with a tasting. We had a great time with Carlos as our guide. He showed us the traditional as well as the modern part of the winery and we were able to learn more about canarian wines. Two very friendly dogs joined us for the tour and in the end we had 4 very tasty wines with snacks. All in all a great experience :) Thank you!

Carlos, who was the host, was very friendly. The wine yard is a family yard. Carlos explained the family history and everything about the wine in Tenerife. A great experience for wine lovers.
