My husband and I took two tours with Yellowstone Day Tours. Our first tour was an all day tour of Yellowstone with Jeff as our guide. He and a van full of other merry revelers met us at our hotel at the crack of dawn and away we went. We had a great tour. Jeff was great about making sure we saw the best areas as well as areas we had no idea about. We saw all kinds of wildlife too. He was great about asking us if we were ok for potty breaks, etc. We had all ages on this tour and that made it even better. Such a fun group. I'd highly recommend Jeff and this group if you're planning a tour. Our second tour was the sunrise tour of the Tetons with Katy. Loved her! She had a great sense of humor and made sure we saw as much as we could in our 5 hours. The vans are all very comfortable with binocular's provided. Katy even showed us how to use the binocular's with our Iphones to zero in on a particular animal. We saw pronghorns, bears, bison, elk, moose and probably some I'm forgetting. Food was good on both tours. Water is provided. Do these tours! You won't regret it!
We had an incredible day with Duncan and Kelly in a nice van that could carry about 8 customers with big windows and comfortable seats. We could not have had a better time. We started early and went thru the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks. We saw bison, elk- both female and big racks, both male and female moose, grizzly and black bears, otters, eagles and other birds, mule deer. There were probably others, but that was most of them. Breakfast and lunch were both good and filling. Lots of great information and interesting, entertaining stories about the history in the region. The price was reasonable for what they gave us. Call them direct and deal with them and you will get well cared for. Gary
Katie was a fantastic tour guide. She was so knowledgeable and friendly. She made the trip so enjoyable and was willing to take photos with anyone who wanted them. I would definitely recommend Yellowstone Day Tours, the full day Grand Teton tour, and Katie. I’m adding to this review since I couldn’t find a way to add a second review…Eddie was also great! We took a full day Yellowstone Lower Loop Tour. He was very knowledgeable and added so much to our enjoyment of the trip. He took photos for anyone who wanted them and ensured we didn’t miss a thing. Again, I’d highly recommend the tour, Yellowstone Day Tours, and Eddie.
