The Vatican is a masterpiece of Italian art and architecture. I'm truly fascinated by what Italians could do over the milenia even in the absence of modern machinery and equipment. I would also like to appreciate our young guide - Valentino, for his knowledge of both the historical as well as contemporary Vatican and his enteraining sense of humor.

The tour with Valentín was excellent! We visited the Papal tombs, St. Peter’s Basilica, and the Dome, everything was super smooth and easy to follow. He explains things clearly and makes the whole experience very enjoyable and interesting. You can tell he truly loves what he does. Highly recommended!
We had an incredible tour guide. Daniel really knows his stuff and made the tour incredibly fun. He was insightful, funny and demonstrated an immense knowledge of the various holy sites we visited. He answered tons of questions and kept the tour moving so as to make the most of our experience at each site. We covered 5 different sites going from the Basilica of San Clemente to St. John Lateran, The Pontifical Sanctuary of the Holy Stairs, The Basilica of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem and the Basilica of Saint Mary Major. Its a brisk 3.5- 4 hour tour but covers SO MUCH! This included 2 of the 4 'Holy Doors' and we got to see tons of Holy relics! Every corner we turned uncovered more and more. Cannot say enough good things about our guide and the experience we had.

We booked a private tour for St. Peter’s Basilica and Valentine was our tour guide. He was amazing!! My husband and I were traveling with our 12 year old daughter and Valentine was really great about keeping her engaged throughout the tour. He was kind, funny. Extremely knowledgeable and professional. One of the highlights from our tour and it was absolutely due to our experience with Valentine. Highly recommend him and this tour group.
The tour was wonderful. The pickup spot was in a less crowded area but still within reasonable walking distance of the colosseum (which is next to where we stayed). The driver was able to take the best route to avoid traffic jams, and got us there quickly. Once inside, the catacombs were very cool on a very hot day. Lots of history in those walls. Not exactly what I’d expected but it was great to learn about them and see first hand what our predecessors left. The tour guide was very thorough and knowledgeable, though I’m late with my review so I do forget her name (sorry!). If you’re into history, or want to see this in person I highly recommend taking this tour. The facility does not allow photos inside, so make sure you’re only using your flashlight on your phone, not the camera 😉
