While in Jakarta, enjoy a private day trip to the outskirts in Bogor, a city known for its cooler climate as it lies at the base of the mountains. One of the main highlights is the renowned Botanical Garden located in the heart of the city, adjacent to the Presidential Palace. Spanning 87 hectares, the garden features over 15,000 species of trees and plants. Known as the “rain city,” Bogor offers a lush environment where visitors can walk or rent electric bicycles, scooters, mini cars, or regular bikes to explore the garden and its various attractions.
The tour continues with a scenic drive up the hillside, passing local houses, markets, and rice fields, offering a glimpse into rural life. A key stop is Mulyaharja, a charming tourism village famed for its panoramic rice terraces and views of Mount Salak, with organic rice as its signature product. This serene area, known as Visit Mulyaharja, provides a peaceful escape from the city. The tour also includes a visit to a local waterfall, where you might spot playful groups of monkeys. Tour duration includes pick-up and drop-off, and may vary based on traffic conditions.

The Jakarta Bogor trip was excellent despite the occasional rain and drizzle. Our visit with Enday Media was the highlight. This is the second trip with Tripedia and I highly recommend them.

Attended my cousin's engagement here! The ambience was nice and family-friendly.

Food is mediocre but the staff service is very good. Eating space is open air without AC.

Everything is great except for the price, it's a little too much for me. However, magnificent garden, scenery, and decorations.

This is a new resto in Bogor. Located by the river side and across the arboretum of The Forestry Ministry's R&D, the view is outstanding with many interesting photo spots. It supports a good health protocol during the pandemic with its semi open-air dining area. The venue is also suitable for meeting, wedding or party. It has an air conditioned room on the second floor which fit for 25-50 persons on normal condition. Unfortunatelly the service time is quite disapointing. Today we ordered Nasi Jeruk Bambu Bebek, Nasi Jeruk Bambu Iga and Sop Buntut. It took almost one hour to get all the food served! Frankly, the food tasted good, as the meats are tender and savory. Eventhough I was a bit confused with the idea of serving broth for the Nasi Jeruk Bambu 🤷 Hopefully the resto staff could improve the food service timing to meet the customer's satisfaction.
