The Gap of Dunloe walk will always be memorable. The walk in the ascent was a little challenging, but I'm so proud I did it! The beauty of Purple Mountains and McGillicuddy Reeks was captivating. I highly recommend the experience. The boat crossing via the Killarney Lakes was both beautiful & informative, thanks to Rory our amazing captain of the little boat. We saw a feral goat high on a cleft of a hill. That made my day!
Excellent tour. Our boatman was very informative and witty. Also our jaunting car driver was excellent, very informative and witty. The overall tour was excellent and ran exactly to the time that was advised.
The boat tour of the 3 lakes was wonderful as was our skipper Rory who gave lots of historical information about the,area. We were lucky that it wasn t windy and so water was calm. we walked the Gap of Dunloe which was spectacular. However, and this has been suggested by others, 2hrs 30 min is too short for the walk. You have to walk at a very fast pace to make it on time. This is a bit hard since half the walk is uphill. It would really make it more enjoyable if you re not worried so much about the time limit. overall a great exoerience
