Come join us for a weekend of women on whitewater, a perfect opportunity to connect with experienced female paddlers and learn from some of the best women whitewater experts. For those curious about the sport, the Beginner two-day kayak clinic is ideal. Our professional instructors are ACA certified and passionate about sharing their skills, ensuring a welcoming and supportive learning environment. Participants will gain hands-on experience while enjoying the beautiful Deerfield River and the full-service amenities of our adventure resort, including a well-equipped outfitter shop.

The weekend is designed with a blend of activities, including community paddles each day, workshops, meals, and social events. Lessons are integrated into these activities so that new paddlers can interact and learn from more experienced participants. The clinic focuses on teaching basic skills in whitewater kayaking, including boat orientation, maneuvering strokes, safe exits, and leaning techniques on flat water. Once comfortable, participants progress to the river to practice basic whitewater safety and run a class one to two section of the river under guided supervision. By the end of the weekend, beginners will have the confidence and knowledge to continue exploring river kayaking on their own.
