I Bought my kayak from them a couple months ago. They have the best prices in town and are very knowledgeable about kayaking. Even though they were busy with renting out kayaks that day , they still were very patient with me with all my questions that I had, being a first time kayaker. They allowed me to try out numerous kayaks and did not rush me when I was trying to decide on the kayak to purchase. Most stores do not allow one to try out the kayaks or there is a restriction on how many one can try . I would definitely recommend buying from them.
We walked in, it looked very nice. Life jackets hung up neatly and kayaks on the proper racks. The kayaks were safe and werent held together with anything. My daughter's friend came with us. She paddle boarded, she said she really enjoyed it. We all had a blast and the water was warm surprisingly. Mike greeted us warmly. He gave us valuable information. Pat got us all set up and taught us how to paddle and steer. Thank you guys! We had a blast.
Only place we'll go for a kayak day trip!! Staff are awesome, kind and makes it all very easy. The Billington Sea is the most amazing peaceful area...water lillies..fish...eagles and hawks..turtles. There are 2 islands to explore including one wirh an old shack. Areas to pull off and picnic, throw balls and swim. They are also so well priced and we tell people aboit them all the time because they are an absolute gem. Support them while seeing some of the beauty here...bring a speaker for music, small cooler & drinks that can fit in the kayak, a football and make a day of it. 💛Time for us to go visit again!
