Herman set us up for a perfect day with their Ski-Doo rental! We traveled from NH to Jackson for the weekend and got super lucky finding such a reliable company to rent top of the line sleds from. Herman was super kind and extremely helpful when it came to getting us set up with our helmets, sleds, trailer and accessories. I highly recommend this to any family, friends, etc looking to get out and enjoy the awesome terrain in Wyoming. We drove an hour north to Togwotee, and let me tell you it was amazing! We were able to pick our sleds up the night before so we could get right on the road bright and early. Highly highly reccomend.
An epic day made possible by JH Backcountry. We were looking for a snowmobile adventure but weren’t sure if it was safe to head into the backcountry on our own with our kids. We called JH Backcountry, explained our plans, and they went above and beyond—accommodating our last-minute request and providing clear guidance and directions to Granite Hot Springs. The experience was incredible: stunning views, a smooth ride, and the hot springs were absolutely picturesque. On our way back we got a little stuck and ended up running late, but the staff—especially Max—checked in to make sure we were okay and stayed late for us to return. We loved the experience so much that we’re already planning another day of exploring with rentals from them.
If you're looking for an adventure that costs less than a fancy dinner and involves zero hassle, stop looking and just book here. This is the place! We booked with these guys last-minute—like, *really* last-minute— yet somehow still got a good machine at literally the best price. I've done my research; these guys rock the best prices out west! The booking process was so easy it felt illegal. No paperwork drama, just "Here are the keys, go get dusty." ( I also won't be surprised if they rock the best ATV rental service out west either) The trails they pointed us to were incredible. We spent the day eating dust and smiling. The machine ran perfectly, the scenery was the best, and we managed to look cool the entire time. --Only downside is, there are a lot of other ATVs out even on a normal weekday and the trails are narrow so you have to find a way to share the road even if that means going off the edge of the mountain. They deserve their stars 🌟 10/10 for sure!
