Customer Reviews
I enjoyed my trip to Dublin. Food and sightseeing as a backpacker. I love Dublin.
I have had nothing but trouble from express bus. It started when I put in an online quote and I was quoted 170€ each for two trips for my wedding. I sent in for a formal quote and I received an email back with a quote of 200€. I figured I would let it go so I emailed to book. No response. Emailed again- no response. I ended up calling and then was told my quote was 400€ per ride because i didn’t “check outside of Dublin” on their website. There was no place to check this, and they had the address and the distance on the quote itself.. I continued to email about the quote and they brought it down to 250€ per trip. I agreed to book since I was trying to get this checked off my list for the wedding and sent 3 or 4 emails with no response. I finally got them on the phone and it still took a while to finally get booked as they didn’t send out the booking form for over a week after the phone call. They brought the price down to 200€ due to how long this process took. Now for the day of my wedding- they were 15 minutes late to pick up. This is a massive problem as they were bringing the groom and groomsmen to the venue, and they then had to rush to get ready since they were 15 minutes off schedule. We all know how important a schedule is on wedding day. They would not answer the phone despite my groom, myself, and my coordinator all calling. We had no idea if they were even going to show up or what we were going to do. They have an “on time” guarantee on their website, but despite my many attempts at contacting, they have not replied. Their guarantee says we don’t owe a cent if they’re one minute late.. yet we have received no refund for 15 minutes late. I would never book this service again. What a nightmare. I am going to have to now make a report and dispute this with my bank since they won’t respond.
Excellent service for our day trip to Ireland. Drivers were very punctual at both pick up points and very professional with updates via WhatsApp. Likewise the ladies in the office, Gillian and Grace, who were very helpful when booking the minibus. All in all a great service! 👏👏👍
