Stopped here simply because it was very close to my hotel and they had a deal for pizza and beer… no regrets! The pizza was absolutely delicious and a fair price, the decor is great and the staff is friendly and approchable. Not many people when we went as it was a weekday, but a few events were announced and it looked like a lot of fun. Feels like a safe space for LGBTQ+ folks which is a huge plus! Only knocked down a star because although most tables were empty, they were pretty much all wobbly and sticky. 😅 Loved our evening here, just wished a little more attention was paid to the cleanliness and to the comfort of guests.
This place sums up the problem with modern "restaurants"! First of all you have to order through a qr code on the table why ? It's not COVID anymore just hire some waiting staff and on the same point I ordered a burger that was 12e PLUS chips at extra cost!?! (Portion was tiny) The burger took nearly an hour to arrive I wouldn't mind but we were the only table in the place and the staff spent most there time talking to each others whats the point in your staff they do nothing! Basically very overpriced especially for a burger I could of made at home for well less than 5e. No service as you order on your phone and your food takes an hour to arrive meanwhile staff do nothing except chatting with eachother and then grunt when you as about service. This place is a pretentious overpriced kip I don't understand why you charge so much when you don't have staff taking orders honestly I could of done the job of your 3staff members by myself and actually provide a service! I won't be back and I will strongly recommend nobody else dose!
Myself and five friends attended on Sunday for the drag brunch. The service was excellent (especially in keeping our hungover pal topped up with plenty of water), the food was delicious (perfect poached eggs!) and the drag acts were stunning. Funny, engaging, and really talented. There were also great drink offers available. The brunch offer is very good value. My only complaint is that the ladies' bathroom upstairs has just one functioning cubicle (and that cubicle doesn't lock).
