Beginning Powerboating - AB101

This two day powerboating course is designed for individuals with little or no prior experience operating a powerboat. Students gain hands on training to confidently and safely maneuver a vessel in close quarters. The program emphasizes essential skills such as docking and undocking, situational assessment, planning, crew communication, and passenger safety. Instruction is tailored to each student, with a maximum of three students per class, ensuring personalized guidance throughout the course. Students learn to operate twin inboard, single inboard, or outboard/stern drive vessels under light wind and current conditions.

Classes are taught aboard a modern fleet of Beneteau powerboats, with experienced instructors who hold US Coast Guard licenses and ASA or RPBA certifications. All fees cover materials, certifications, and taxes, allowing students to focus entirely on developing their skills.
