Discover a medieval setting brimming with fantasy in the enchanting city of Bruges. From the moment you arrive, its charm feels almost unreal. Graceful canals weave through the historic center like a delicate necklace, earning the city its poetic nickname, the Venice of the North. Cobblestone streets lead you beneath brick archways and toward majestic stone churches, while elegant bridges reflect softly over the water. Every corner reveals a postcard scene that seems untouched by time. As you wander through lively squares and quiet lanes, you will feel transported back to the Middle Ages, surrounded by architecture and traditions that have been lovingly preserved for centuries.

Located in the Flemish region of Belgium, Bruges is reached by comfortable private bus from Amsterdam, with engaging commentary shared along the way. Upon arrival in this celebrated World Heritage destination, an expert guide leads a captivating walking tour through the most remarkable landmarks and hidden treasures of the city. After the guided experience, you are free to explore at your own pace. Taste fresh mussels, indulge in rich Belgian chocolate, savor locally brewed beer, or glide gently along the canals on a scenic boat ride. This excursion perfectly blends history, culture, and gastronomy, offering an unforgettable journey into one of Europe most magical cities.

Really happy I booked this tour as I only spent one day in Bruges. The walking tour was at a slow enjoyable pace and incorporated all the main sights you want to see in Bruges. Our tour guide Tania was very friendly, provided some humour within her commentary! The boat trip which can be taken at any time after the tour was great! It was extremely cold but that’s what you get in February! The only negative is we found it hard to identify where or who our tour guide was. We were outside Bruges station looking for some signage or guide in specific clothing which was not the case. I rang the office who then advised Tania we were looking for her! Apart from that it was well worth it and would definitely recommend!

Luc D is an exceptional guide: he managed a huge group in the rain on New Years Eve and made sure we could all see and hear clearly, and found good places to shelter us in dry spots. He has such a great sense of humour and was very friendly and helpful. I learned so much that I would never have found on my own or in a guide book. Such a great experience and I highly recommend it.

We had Brecht as a stand in guide for the English group on a Friday and he was amazing! As a local, he really knew his history and the personal stories about his family connections to Bruges were lovely to hear about. Thank you so much 🙏🏻

We did the "Dark Side" night tour of Bruges with our guide, Martin. He was terrific -- Had many stories and legends to tell us as we walked around some of the Bruges neighborhoods. I liked that he spoke loudly and was easy to hear (we had a very large group of 24 people on the night we took the tour so that can get a little tricky). My wife and I had done a bike tour earlier in the day, so we weren't sure whether to do this night walking tour. I highly recommend that you do it. You see a totally different side of the city at night. The lights and canals and buildings seem to stand out even more. And one huge plus is that there are far fewer people around the city at night, so it's much less crowded. It's just kind of a part spooky, part romantic atmosphere that you simply don't get during the day with the big crowds everywhere. I felt like I got some of the best photos from our entire trip to Belgium (Ghent, Bruges, Brussels) on this night tour.

This was by far the best walking tour we have ever attended across Europe! Thank you, Wouter D. for a very history filled and informative tour of Brugge! We learned so much about Belgium and Brugge’s culture and background. The legends were very interesting also. We highly recommend this tour and hope you have the chance to experience our guide! We had the opportunity to be entertained and educated by Wouter D.!

Our Historical Bruges tour was really the best! Our guide was Natalie and she conducts one of the best "city/history" tours we have ever been on. Knowledgeable, funny, great stories, and she ties everything together in thread fashion so as the tour comes to life, it also makes historical sense. Compliment and tip her well as she is worth every euro!
