A big thank you to Diego!! What a great experience! If you love food and want to gain more knowledge on Iberico Jamon. How and why they taste different- the origins of the colour system for grading the meats- please come here! Diego was amazing, very informative but also kept it fun! He went above and beyond, we honestly had the best time!!
This jamón experience was more of a theoretical introduction about production history and types of jamón, not a real hands-on master class. Although it was described as bilingual, most of the information was in Spanish, with only about 20 percent in English. To really enjoy it, it is best to join a language you fully understand. I was personally looking for a more practical session showing how to open the leg, cut it properly, and store it. As an introduction, it is interesting, but it is limited if you expect technical training.
Thanks to our master Juan for making the class interesting and giving us the knowledge about the ibérico ham. Now I can say I can taste the differences among the products and how I should taste them. Highly recommended for people to participate and totally worth the experience. Tasting and cava are good choice! Another remark, our flight was super delayed and the shop gave us the flexibility to change to another time. I appreciate it!
