We had an incredible 25-minute helicopter flight with Mt Cook Helicopters, and it was truly a once in a lifetime experience. Flying over the glaciers in the Mt Cook region was absolutely breathtaking, with nonstop spectacular views in every direction. The highlight was the landing on a precarious, remote spot where we were able to get out and take photos, such a surreal and unforgettable moment for our our family, surrounded by snow and mountains. The pilot Sam was professional, informative, and made us feel completely safe while giving us a sense of adventure. The scenery was beyond anything we could have imagined. If you’re visiting the Mt Cook area, this experience is an absolute must do and worth every minute.

I had an absolutely wonderful helicopter experience with Mt Cook Ski Planes & Helicopters (Tasman Taster), and it was hands-down one of the best things I have done in New Zealand! Visited on Dec 1st and the scenic flight over Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park was breathtaking. Soaring above the stunning glaciers, icefalls, and snow-capped peaks felt like being in another world. The highlight was the alpine snow landing, where we stepped out onto pristine snow with incredible panoramic views of the Southern Alps. The pilot was professional, knowledgeable, and shared fascinating insights about the area, making the whole trip even more memorable. The team on the ground was friendly and efficient, and everything ran smoothly.
