Optional damage insurance is available exclusively for surfboard rentals and is applied on a per-board basis. The coverage is limited strictly to equipment damage and does not extend to theft, loss, injury, or damage involving other persons or equipment, with separate insurance required for each board if protection is desired.
Additional service provisions include free delivery and pickup for qualifying weekly rentals valued at $75 or more. Delivery is restricted to select Hatteras Island locations such as Rodanthe, Salvo, Waves, Avon, Buxton, Frisco, and Hatteras, with reservations accepted only on a weekly rental basis.
