Upon arrival in Chengdu on Day 1, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel in the city. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the chance to explore Kuan and Zhai Alleys in the evening, a lively historical area filled with teahouses, local snacks, and cultural charm. You’ll spend the night at a comfortable 5-star hotel in Chengdu. The next morning, after enjoying breakfast at the hotel, your journey begins with a visit to the Panda Breeding Centre, where you can observe the adorable pandas in their natural-style enclosures. After about two hours at the center, you will drive for approximately two hours to Leshan to marvel at the 78-meter-high Giant Buddha—the world’s largest stone-carved sitting Buddha. This monumental figure carved into the cliffside is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterward, a one-hour drive will take you to Emei, where you will explore Baoguo Monastery, a historic Buddhist temple located at the base of Mount Emei. Later in the day, you will check into a 5-star hot spring hotel, offering a perfect way to unwind in a variety of hot spring pools. Your overnight stay at the resort ensures both relaxation and comfort.
On Day 3, you will be transferred to Mount Emei to begin your hiking adventure. Your guide will provide maps and information on various hiking routes, allowing you to choose the path that best suits your interest and ability. Along the way, you may encounter the mountain’s famous wild monkeys and enjoy spectacular views of the lush surroundings and sacred temples. After a day of exploration, you will return to your hot spring hotel for another peaceful overnight stay. On Day 4, after breakfast, you will check out and be transferred to Emeishan Railway Station to catch a fast bullet train back to Chengdu Shuangliu Airport. From there, you will continue on to your next destination, concluding your memorable journey through Chengdu, Leshan, and Emei.

This is the place to get your bus and emeishan entrance ticket.Avoid making deals with the people trying to sell overpriced tours to Emeishan.
The name on the sign in front of the building is Emeishan Tour Passenger Transport Center. If you will take the bus up Ermei Mountain, you must buy tickets and get on the bus here (on the way back, the bus will also drop you off at this destination. Foreigners should take a photo to show the driver that you will return to this station). It is most convenient to buy a combination ticket, which includes the entrance fee, the round-trip bus fare, and the round-trip cable car fare, for 370 yuan per person. Then go through the body/baggage scanner and walk to the designated bus stop (there will be staff to manage). When the bus leaves the station, the driver will be checked for alcohol and the vehicle and passengers will be checked. The staff will check and display the results on the monitor and sign to certify. Then the bus will drive up Ermei Mountain for 2 hours to its destination. After getting off the bus, walk up the stairs, which are a bit high/far, with shops along the way. Then take the cable car and walk for a while to reach the top of Jinding Mountain/the pagoda top with the statue of the ten-headed Bodhisattva Samantabhadra sitting on a lotus throne on the back of four six-tusked white elephants, which is beautiful and impressive.
