Very disappointing hotel management – Bismillah Tours & Travel (Vietnam) I would like to share our very unsatisfactory experience with Bismillah Tours & Travel in Vietnam, who acted as the local/ground agent for SFT Holiday Malaysia during our family trip to Ho Chi Minh & Dalat. Hotel issue – extremely poor coordination Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh, there was a clear mismatch in the hotel itinerary between what was given to us and what was provided to the tour guide in Vietnam. As a result, we were forced to go from one hotel to another, and only the third hotel was the correct one. This was extremely exhausting, especially as we were travelling with young children. We had booked 3 triple rooms, but the hotel informed us that the booking received was for double rooms only. We were initially given 6 double rooms, with the explanation that the triple rooms were unavailable due to maintenance issues. This was not acceptable, as young children cannot be separated from their parents, yet this basic concern was not taken seriously. After nearly 2 hours of waiting and discussions with the hotel and tour guide, a temporary arrangement was provided: - 2 double rooms with extra beds - 2 double rooms We were then promised triple rooms on the second day. Following instructions, we moved all our luggage to the lobby in preparation for the room change. However, when we returned from our activities, we were given the same rooms again. The hotel later informed us that the travel agent had booked double rooms, not triple rooms. As guests, we became the victims of poor coordination and mismanagement. Although a refund was eventually issued, it cannot compensate for the time wasted, stress endured, and the disappointment of a disrupted family holiday. Conclusion As the ground agent in Vietnam, Bismillah Tours & Travel should have ensured: - Accurate hotel bookings - Clear coordination between the hotel, tour guide, and the Malaysian agent - Proper consideration for families travelling with young children Unfortunately, these basic responsibilities were not handled professionally. I do not recommend this service based on our experience.
A VERY DISAPPOINTING experience with Bismillah Travel. From the moment we arrived at Ho Chi Minh Airport, everything became chaotic. My niece’s luggage was delayed and was STILL in Malaysia. Fine — that was the airline’s fault — BUT when we tried to get help from the Vietnam agent, the agency kept changing tour guides up to THREE TIMES, leaving our private group completely confused about who our actual guide was. The Da Lat portion was fine, no major issues. But once we returned to Ho Chi Minh for 3 days 2 nights, the REAL DISASTER began. Bismillah Agency FAILED to properly confirm our hotel booking. We were sent to a DIFFERENT HOTEL. The itinerary stated Avanti Boutique Hotel, but the receptionist said there was NO BOOKING under our name. We were then sent to Avanti Hotel — yes, there was a booking, BUT THEY BOOKED 6 ROOMS, while we had clearly booked 3 TRIPLE ROOMS. We were given QUEEN beds with an extra single mattress. This is NOT what we paid for. Completely unacceptable. Our group waited MORE THAN 2 HOURS in the hotel lobby just to resolve the room issue — a total waste of time. One group member completely lost patience. An agency representative eventually came to Avanti Hotel and told us we would only stay ONE night, and that the correct rooms would be provided the next day. Guess what happened? When we returned to the hotel to check in again, WE WERE GIVEN THE SAME ROOMS AGAIN — not the rooms we originally booked. This is a LIE. Yesterday they said one thing. Today they said another. Even the hotel receptionist confirmed that the agency had only booked DELUXE rooms, NOT triple rooms. So who is lying here? I am EXTREMELY angry and disappointed with: SFT Travel Their Vietnam agent (Bismillah) Avanti Hotel, Ho Chi Minh To anyone thinking of booking with Bismillah Travel — PLEASE THINK VERY CAREFULLY. THINK TWICE. I sincerely hope no one else has to go through what we experienced. This trip caused stress, wasted time, and emotional exhaustion. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. You are better off traveling on your own or choosing an agency with TRULY excellent reviews.

She took great care of my parents, provided clear information at every stop, and even suggested interesting places for us to visit.
