Immigration was very slow. I arrived around 2:30 pm and it took nearly two hours just to clear immigration. One inconvenient detail is that restrooms are located outside the immigration queue, so leaving the line to use the restroom is not very practical. The airport is also quite far from the city. With rain and traffic, the taxi ride to my hotel took almost two hours, which was extremely exhausting after a long flight.
upon arrival the line to immigration in soooo long and wifi works for 1h only. then you can’t even call a can once you’re finally pass the immigration control. i had to log into my burner phone from the bottom of my backpack lol
Nice airport overall — not new, but pleasant and functional. The facilities are clean, and everything is organized, though the design and infrastructure feel a bit outdated. It’s clear the terminal will need some renovation in the coming years to keep up with modern standards. Still, the experience was smooth, staff were friendly, and it’s an easy airport to navigate compared to others in Colombia.
