Step into Middle-earth on an unforgettable 2.5-hour adventure that combines the Mt Olympus and Mt Owen tours for the ultimate Lord of the Rings experience. Fly northwest into Golden Bay for a mountain landing on Mt Olympus, where you can explore the filming location known as “South of Rivendell.” After reboarding the helicopter, continue south over the vast, untouched wilderness of Kahurangi National Park, a region that perfectly captures the epic scale and raw beauty seen on screen.
Your journey continues with a second mountain landing at Mt Owen, the dramatic rocky landscape featured as the “Exit from the Mines of Moria.” With approximately 90 minutes of total flight time, you’ll enjoy sweeping views of native bush, rugged alpine terrain, and diverse plant and wildlife habitats.
