Beautiful place, worth of visit. Beautiful water, there were not a lot of tourists there, we could really enjoy. Parking is free, and you can use the showers and toilet even if you’re not a beach bar costumer.

Very nice and semi wild beach. Slow entrance into the sea. No steps or something. Ideal for small kids. You can walk 50m from the shoreline and the water is knee deep

Nice and clean beach, not to busy. It is a free of entry beach. Enough space, and a few nice and kind of different beach clubs. Chears and umbrellas not expensive, from so 4 euro. Perfect for plane spotting and taking pictures of landing planes.

Great sandy beach near Heraklio with sunbeds, showers, locker rooms, bar and music. Easy to reach by local bus or by car, free parking available with lots of space. As a bonus you have a perfect plane spotting location, planes landing every 5 minutes.

A beach used mostly by the people of Heraklion to escape the city. Long and sandy there are a selection of beach bars with sunbeds, or you can bring your own beach gear and set up for the day. If you've ever landed at Heraklion airport this is the beach you see just before you land, and plane watching is a fun part of this beach as the planes float into the airport every few minutes in the summer. There's a couple of taverns and a kiosk & shop on the road behind the beach. A beautiful sunset to be had too.
