Super nice and affordable cruise. We had a lovely time. An observation I made which really struck me is how efficient the bar service was for the amount of people aboard. We had a fantastic time. Super affordable. The prices aboard were very reasonable. The time spent at each stop was ample. Lots of seating areas in and out of the sun. No sun loungers but comfortable tables. I recommend nabbing a table at the front of the boat. We came mid October so on the way back after being out on stops for a swim it did get a little nippy with the sea breeze so bring a light jacket and some pocket money for the snack bar on board. Super nice crew, clean toilets where you can also get changed.
We have taken this tour with our family twice this summer, and enjoyed both times! The staff on the boat are kind, well organized and courteous. The boat leaves on time and announces them several times - so keep your eye on the clock to make sure you get back to the boat when you need. I didn’t realize there would be so many meal options and was pleasantly surprised, as with young kids I was already lugging around a lot of bags. At lunch they bring out hot meal options like pastitso, boureki, chicken and potatoes, and even greek salad (but you have to ask for it). There is also a wide selection of water, beer, wine, and cocktail options. Umbrellas are available for rent as well - we didn’t rent one but I believe the price was under 10 euros. Overall, this is a fun day trip to take as adults or as a family. Balos is gorgeous and has shallow waters. The boat was easy, reliable, and comfortable and it had everything we needed. Fully recommend!
Great experience, nothing major to complain about apart of really big number of passengers so you sit a bit squeezed. We managed to get seats outside so it was Ok but not everyone was as lucky. There is decent amount of time on both Gramvousa and Balos, the boat leaves on time- they don’t wait for anyone which is fair. There’s drinks and food on board, but better to take some cash in case there is no signal for card payment.
