Wasn’t sure what to expect but all up, glad I went. To see the Pyramids and Sphinx up close is the only way to get perspective on size, location, and proximity… We were there a few days ago (a Tuesday in late Jan.) and it was cool with a gusty breeze blowing so jackets required, and there was a bit of sand and dust blowing around.. There were a lot of people, but less than 10min to get in… Internal transport with buses is well organised, there was quite a line of you wanted to get very up close with the Sphinx, but we saw it from a few other spots including the hill in front, and from the prayer and blessing temple in front, and didn’t feel it was necessary to get any closer..

Site is very large, hop-off bus very well organized. Even so we did walk a lot to discover more. Leadung road to pyramids. Take the tickets online to save the ticket office queue. Book extra to go inside the pyramid. It is a real workout in there, need to be fit.

The pyramids of Giza are an unforgettable experience. No photos can capture their true scale or the feeling of time you sense while standing there. Despite the noise and chaos around, once you look at the pyramids, everything else fades away. Truly powerful and absolutely worth seeing at least once in a lifetime.

The Pyramids of Egypt are very amazing to see. They are very big and full of history. Standing there makes you feel the past. The desert around them looks beautiful. It is a place everyone should visit at least once in life.

All I have to say is that it was more spectacular than I expected. Amazing experience. I would definitely do the farther camel ride or carriage ride for better photos. This place is not really wheel chair friendly as there are not many pathways. I did however take my dad who is 85yrs and he loved it. You don’t have to walk too much as there are buses that take you around.
