I would not recommed this restaurant. Although I don't have anything specific that I would call out this is more about the fact that the food was generally average but also pretty expensive. Service was good ...staff were friendly enough initially. Overall food and wine was very average. Nothing to complain about but nothing was had that would make me either go back or make a recommendation to someone else. If I was eating out again on this holiday we would probably say let's try somewhere else to see if its better rather than let's go back there again as we really loved it. We eat out a lot at home and live in a European capital city with the ability to experience different food cultures should we want. So I would say that I was really disappointed to be paying comparable prices for a largely forgettable experience. In saying that the royal castle pub looked to be priced similarly to others I Side so my point is one where I think the resort town pricing is too high which we have experienced at this pub. Also having looked on review boards, this one and others, the responses to reviews of the restaurant is one of the most direct negative responses to negative reviews that I have ever seen disappointingly which actually made me hesitate in writing this. So while i know i will get a response saying im too harsh or that they condem me because i am writing about side and not just the restaurant. But this restaurant was our one holiday meal out of the resort and at the pricing, on top of cost of holiday this was my experience of the Side. All I am saying is if I could turn back the clock ...I wish we had chosen a different restaurant as our one holiday meal out. While the restaurant has a right to reply, I also have a right to consider these replies in my overall assessment of whether I would go back and this would contribute to my decision not to go back if I was in Side again. Sometimes you just need to accept someone's point of view rather than pointing out their review is too harsh or that the person said 20 minutes late but the restaurant points out 15

We stopped by for our dinner today and had a fantastic experience here. The food was amazing and the staff couldn’t have done more for us. They didn’t force us in, we looked at the menu and liked the look of the food and was welcomed in. Even though they were fully booked they were able to first us in for a delicious meal. Highly rate this place and can’t wait to come back!!

It is the best place in Side that I discovered. Thanks to musicians and food, I got so much fun. Musicans play rock'n roll thats why I decided to enter, also the stuff was so welcoming. The royal burger was the biggest burger that I have ever had and very delicious. Thanks

I recently visited this steakhouse in Side with my friend Floor, and it was absolutely delightful. We went there three times—once for dinner and twice just for drinks. Each time, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The highlight was definitely our third visit when we enjoyed a delicious Chateaubriand, which was beautifully prepared. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and excellent service!

Really nice tour of the Castle side at night. Our guide David was excellent. Enthusiastic and a lot of fun. We got some great views of the city and he also taught us how to use the trolley system. He was very knowledgeable about beer and the city. Our group of six had a wonderful time thank you David!

David was absolutely the best tour guide. He has extensive knowledge of the local Czech beers and breweries. We visited four fantastic local bars / breweries with some extra quick stops in between to view additional local points of interest. We never would have found any of these fantastic places without his local knowledge. So much fun drinking and eating and hanging out like a local. David even took us to a bar where his grandfather used to hang out. Can’t get much more local than that! Fantastic experience!

I did a day tour with this operator and then this one right after. David and Jachym were great hosts! We learned so much about the drinking history of Prague, as well as modern and historic Czech beer culture. We tried a few traditional beers as well as some delicious bar food. I have a much greater appreciation for Prague and Czech beer after this, and I highly recommend this tour. Oh, and thanks for the special gift!
