Beautiful, well maintained coastal walk with views that really depends on the day you go. When the weather is clear or even slightly sunny, the cliffs and views over the Irish Sea is genuinely stunning and easily worth the trip. On cloudy days you still get a decent experience, but if it is very foggy or heavily cloudy, most of the scenery disappears and it feels more like a simple hike than a scenic coastal walk. What makes Howth enjoyable is how easy and convenient it is. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and seafood spots nearby, along with public washrooms around the harbour and village area. It is a great choice for a relaxed one day outing where you can combine a coastal walk with good food and time by the sea, particularly if you are based in or around Dublin.

This is my favourite place in Ireland. Howth Cliff Walk is easy hiking trail with breathtaking views on the warmer months of the year bit also in the colder ones but of course it's a little bit windy. 😉 Train to Howth from Dublin costs 2.60€ so it's cheap attraction. Definitely worth going to. Enjoy your moments with nature!

Simply beautiful. If you enjoy the outdoors, this is a must do. Not a far ride from Dublin. It's an easy hike. If you are more adventurous, you can make it harder and venture down to the beach taking a small path with a few hundred steps

Very nice spot and quite easy trail! We didn't do the loop though, we continued on and it is amazing. Loved the view and the lighthouse, the many flowers and birds! We were very lucky the sun was out and no wind at all, amazing!

Beautiful day hike. Great view of the Eye of Ireland. Amazing seafood restaurant's. Only 40 minutes away from Dublin on the train. Tara station in Dublin to the Howth station is 2 50 Euro each way. Great place to see the sea and a great hike.
