Had a great snorkeling experience. Very professional, well organized, and right on time. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Big shoutout to Diego and Jonny for being awesome guides: friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole trip even better. Highly recommend.
Excellent snorkelling trip and great local experience. We were guided on a walk from the meeting point through the local streets to the pier where we boarded our boat. Small group with captain Ernesto and guide Johnny, both of whom were great. We snorkelled 4 sites, including a drift at the lighthouse, which was the highlight of 4 great sites. We saw loads of dish, plus a turtle and 3 stingrays. On board we had water and Margueritas, followed by a delicious Mexican snack.
We were looking to visit Isla Mujeles and were quoted $300 for a catermarran, but then the price kept going up for transfers and taxes. We decided to make our own way to the island by Ultramar and were lucky enough to find these guys to take us to sea for snorkeling. Much cheaper but not cheap, great value. Took us to 3 places all were fantastic, saw so many fish, even turtles and stingrays. The underwater museum too, great to see. The Captain and the 2 divers were great fun and really wanted to make the day fun for everyone. The boat could handle no more than 15, perfect. The catermarran would have had 90 people swimming in the same spot. The trip felt very personal and I will certainly be recommending to anyone that listens. We had a memorable day for sure. After the snorkeling we had some food, did some shopping before getting the Ultramar back, timed to see the sunset. Drop these guys a message and go from there.
