You absolutely must request for your room to not be directly above the bar or else they will for sure put you there. Its happened to us every single time we've stayed here and its a terrible situation. The service is decent except for the restaurant. They're always "too busy" to provide standard service. It always seems to end in a silly argument and ruins our evening. This place is too expensive for the bad result. We love the location but we'll never try this place again. Due to the eventual ruined time they'll give you, id recommend staying away.
I'll start with the good: the room is fairly nice, on the small side tho even "superior king", which gives you your own patio (albeit not much privacy from neighbors), the food at the restaurant is pretty decent. They play the loudest music possible for 20 people at the pool all night, meanwhile literally can't relax in your room because it's so loud. The service is terrible, we made requests that were simply ignored. Too many stories of bad and incompetent service to list. Kimpton is much much better.
The best ocean view hotel this side of Florida! We stayed here for our wedding as well as for our 1 year anniversary. Gorgeous room with beautiful views of the ocean. Everything is clean and staff were helpful and considerate. It's in a beachy small-town feel in Vero with boutique shops, cafes, and browsing all nearby.
