We went on the Carrow House and The Forgotten Vaults tour yesterday. This 90 minutes tour was enjoyable and educational. The Colman family was a wonderfully enlightened employer from 1800s onwards and really cared about their extended family - all employers should follow their lead and the country would definitely be a better place. Thanks to Max and his team for giving us an interesting insight into the Colman family and Carrow House. We are looking forward to visiting again and, hopefully, finding out if any of keys fit the locked safes and you have found some unusual items! We have been on the Hidden Street tour several times - with a different guide each time giving their own special twist. My husband and I heard about the Norwich’s Hidden Street Tour in the radio and we loved the idea, so we booked a tour today to do something different with my mum who was visiting. The hidden street is a small place, but so full of history! We loved getting to know more about Norwich and picturing life back in the 14th century. Highly recommend!
