True Laguna Beach hidden gem My girlfriend and I went surfing today with Eli’s Learn to Surf, and it was such an awesome experience. This place feels like a true Laguna Beach hidden gem—super laid-back, friendly, and very local. No rushed, touristy feel at all. Eli knows the Laguna Beach surf spots inside and out and did an amazing job explaining everything in a simple, encouraging way. Even as beginners, we felt comfortable right away and were standing up and catching waves faster than we expected. The local knowledge made a huge difference, especially with reading the waves and timing.
