We are absolutely delighted with our classes at Turtle Tots! Our teacher, Charlotte Wright, is incredible — she has an amazing approach to such young children and is so kind and patient. Thanks to her, my daughter feels very confident and happy in the water. The facilities at the Westlodge Hotel are also excellent. The pool is lovely and warm, which is perfect for little ones. I also really appreciate the playpen in the changing room; it’s such a thoughtful addition that makes it so much easier to get changed safely.
We absolutely love Turtle and tots! Our daughter has thrived here, and that's largely thanks to her wonderful teacher Alannah.She is so friendly, patient, and truly supportive of both the children and us parents every step of the way. The classes are engaging, well-structured, and a real highlight of our week. The progress we've seen is amazing. The only small logistical challenge we've found is regarding the changing rooms in our venue (Clayton Liffey Valley). Unfortunately, buggies and prams are not allowed inside, which we found tricky as we rely on ours not just for transport, but as a essential "base" to change our baby and hang all our gear. With only one change table available, the need for a safe, contained space for the little one while we get organised is even greater! This is a minor note in an otherwise 5-star experience, but if the place could ever revisit this policy, it would make the fantastic experience absolutely perfect for families with very young babies. We still wholeheartedly recommend the turtle and tots!!!
We’ve absolutely loved our Turtle Tots experience with our 9-month-old! The instructors are so gentle, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable—they really understand babies and make every class feel safe and fun. My little one has grown so much in confidence in the water. It’s amazing to see how excited they get as soon as we arrive! The sessions are really well structured, with a great mix of songs, bonding time, and skill-building activities. It’s become one of our favourite weekly activities, and I’d highly recommend Turtle Tots to any parent looking to introduce their baby to swimming
