There aren’t enough wonderful things to say about Point Dume. Such a beautiful, and clean beach. The views are amazing!
It was not a long walk. Easy hike except for going down and come back up from the beach at the bottom. What is upsetting is that there are only 10-11 public parking spots on the street and all other streets around it has “No Parking” signs. Also a security guard is driving around the neighborhood to ticket on the cars parked in front of someone’s mansion. If it’s a public park for anyone to visit, they should be visitors friendly not discriminating against tourists or people who cannot afford to live there. I felt a bit disgusted by seeing the security guy driving up to the street where he spotted some tourists showing up around the corner.
A beautiful beach in Malibu, with free and $3 parking. On our most recent visit, we saw dolphins swimming north along the coast. It’s a great beach to bring your dog, too.
