We cruised to Paxos (Lakka) and Antipaxos wigh Ionian cruises and it was great. Very entertaining guide, clean toolets, coffee, snack. We have akso experienced greek dances. Shop took us from Cirfu Town to Lakka in Paxos where We had 2 hrs for swimming or shopping. Then We cruised along the iceland to discover many hidde caves, including the famous Blue. On Antipaxos We stopped at one of the beaches to swim/snorkel. Barbecue was served on board and greek dances were shown on the way back. Ship had 2 decks - one open upstairs and the other one inside to get warm 😉. Tickets costed 40euros per person.
Nice day trip to Paxos (Gaios) and Antipaxos that left a lot to be desired. The guide was very informative and we liked her! BUT! The boat is way overcrowded, it takes away from the experience big time as you can barely squeeze in your seat, let alone walk the deck or find a shade (if you were unlucky to pick a sunny spot at first). It also takes a ton of the already limited time to get on and off the boat when the queue is so long. Too little time on Paxos but probably understandable as the distance to both islands from Corfu is more than 2 hours and they have a time frame to fit in. It was kinda unpleasant (to say the least) the way they managed the boat on the way back, breaking the waves way too fast and almost careless for the passengers on the front. This part of the trip felt unnecessary rushed, considering people were all wet and hardly keeping balance on the front deck. It wasn't a time issue as we returned about 10-20 minutes earlier than expected. Better boat management when wind conditions are less than perfect would have made it a more enjoyable trip overall.
