We ordered this trip because of the many good reviews, and it was correct! It was perfect for us traveling 8 people in a van and having our own guide in Luxor. Then it is actually possible to hear what the guide tells us! Our guide Smiley was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and led us safely through the day! Not least gave good advice on how to ignore the sellers and took care of my 79 year old mother so she could sit down a bit while the rest of us went further. We felt safe all the time. There was so much exciting to see in Luxor. Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings with several tombs, Memnon Colossi, my favourite Hatshepsut Temple / Tomb, and in addition we fell for the temptation to take a boat trip on the Nile - and it was quite nice in the heat! It is a 4.5 hour drive each way, but it went smoothly in good seats. Thanks to tour leader Ibrahim, the drivers and guide Smiley!
