I brought my (70-something year old) sister to Door County, and a Segway ride was high on the list. She had never ridden before, but Mark showed her the ropes and she was soon zipping around Penninsula State Park like a pro. Mark stopped often to show us mushrooms, a flock of turkeys and lots of great scenery. He even took a bunch of pictures of is with the stunning fall foliage. Great experience!
Went on a Segway tour with Mark Killenburg to Whitefish Dunes State Park/Cave Point. it was my daughter's first time on a Segway and Mark was awesome with his instruction and so patient. His knowledge of the area, history. flora. wildlife and microbiology is fantastic. We had a fabulous leisurely time and never felt rushed. He was so willing to take photos and lend a hand in navigating some of the rockier areas when on foot by the water. In fact the tour ended up being longer than expected because we were the only ones on this day. We never would have seen so much if we were walking, the Segway is definitely the way to go! It was a perfect fall day and th colors in the landscape were beautiful. Thank you so much Mark and we hope to have you on our next Segway tour.
I am so happy we booked his tour. Our guide Brian was awesome!!!! So much fun seeing the park on the Segway's. Our kids loved it and us adults adapted fairly quickly, the Segway's are really intuitive. We had a great time with the 2 hour tour and would Highly recommend it.
