The tour of the Iguazu Falls on the Argentine side offers a truly unique and immersive experience, allowing visitors to get remarkably close to the waterfalls and feel their immense power firsthand. Well designed walkways and bridges extend deep into the heart of the falls, bringing you face to face with powerful cascades and dramatic drops surrounded by lush subtropical forest. As you move along the trails, the sound of rushing water grows stronger and the mist fills the air, creating an atmosphere that is both exhilarating and awe inspiring. This side of the falls provides an intimate perspective, where the sheer scale and energy of the water can be fully appreciated from just a few steps away.
The highlight of the Argentine side is the unforgettable view of Devil’s Throat, the most impressive and powerful section of the Iguazu Falls. Standing directly in front of this massive natural spectacle, visitors witness enormous volumes of water plunging into a deep gorge, sending clouds of mist skyward and creating a truly dramatic scene. The experience is both humbling and unforgettable, offering a profound connection to nature at its most powerful. Surrounded by rainforest and vibrant wildlife, the journey to Devil’s Throat is as rewarding as the destination itself. This tour is ideal for those who wish to experience the falls up close, combining breathtaking views, sensory immersion, and a deep appreciation for one of the world’s greatest natural wonders.

In A Nutshell: -My experience arriving & departing IGR airpirt has been very smooth. -It is a small airport but has big airport facilities such as a nice duty free area, clean local shops & an AMAE airport lounge. -Security is breezy & no hassle. -The taxi's are honest (25,000 to 26,500 pesos) should be the fair amount to/from downtown. Overall, this is a nice airport providing stress-free travel.

It’s easy to navigate, and clean, which I guess is important. Like most smaller airports there are no good places to eat. And whilst some parents will appreciate the play area, I think a few people could do without the constant children screaming.

Fantastic airport. Very easy to navigate with nice shops and cozy places to sit and relax. The view from the windows is beautiful too as you can see the skyline extending over the top of the trees. Also because it is a small airport security checks are super quick and that is a plus!

A sweet little airport, Brightly lit with lots of spots for families, including a reading library for the kids and a play area at the terminals. Security is very easy. They do not make you take off your shoes or take out your liquids or take out your computer like in the US. This really speeds things along! Three are a couple of scattered restaurants at that gates and a couple before you enter. Plenty for Six gates. My only issue is that the gate agent was unable to read our boarding pass, perhaps because it was electronic and not printed out? He was really struggling with it, and I’m not sure why. Once we boarded the plane, the flight attendant came and double checked that we were in the correct seats. I don’t know if this is an issue with the airport or with the airline, but it seems a little odd that they would give us an electronic boarding pass that they had a hard time reading. Other than that, lots of bright sunlight, and it’s wonderful that they have areas for the kids. Oh, and the bano de damas was very clean!

It's not as flashy as many modern airports, but it's spacious, neat, and orderly. They should have more electric outlets for charging phones. But, it's not overcrowded (at list at this point) so it's manageable.
