We researched several Tuscany wine tours and are so glad we chose Tuscany Wine Tours with Angie. From start to finish, the experience was thoughtful, seamless, and truly special. If you can, ask for Filippo — he was gracious, fun, and incredibly knowledgeable. Beyond the wine (which was fantastic), he brought Tuscany to life with history and context along the drive, pointing out sites like the Florence American Cemetery, sharing stories about the region, and even noting movies filmed along the way. It added so much depth to the day. The wineries were beautiful, unpretentious, and welcoming — exactly what we were hoping for. Filippo was our tour guide through 3 amazing boutique wineries. Incredibly knowledgeable and gracious, he made the tour a genuine and delightful experience. At each winery not only did we taste delicious wine and food, but it felt like we were visiting the homes of friends. The winery owners were all passionate about their wines and took great care with every step of the process. Wonderful authentic, intimate experience I would recommend highly. Just a magical day!

Angie did a wonderful job showing us the Chianti region while keeping the tour fun and entertaining. The 3 wineries visited all were unique and great in their own way. We had personal tours from the owners of 2 of the wineries which was very cool to learn their stories. The small group setting (8 people or less) was perfect size and being picked up from downtown Florence made the whole experience super easy. 10/10 would recommend!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this tour! Each winery had its own unique history and story behind each of the wines we tasted, the lunch La Pia was delightful, and the views were gorgeous. An absolute must have if you're looking for a unique intimate Tuscan experience beyond the hustle and bustle of Florence. The highlight of the tour was our guide, Filippo. He was such a genuine and kind person who took so much care in giving us the best quality experience. His knowledge of the wine and region was exceptional and gave us such a greater understanding and appreciation for the wine and for Tuscany.

Andre was a fantastic guide. We enjoyed our guided tour of Volterra and San Gimignano very much. We visited on Christmas Eve and both towns are absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, there was a road closure on our way to Volterra, and we had to back track and take another route. As a result, it was a bit rushed as there is a lunch reservation at the winery. We spent about 45mins to an hour at both towns, and we definitely wished we had more time to explore the towns on our own. If there is one thing to change, it would be the lunch at the winery. While it was informative and educational (and the wines are delicious), we felt compelled to buy some products in the end. On our way back, Andre stopped by Piazzale Michelangelo to let us take in the views of Florence at sunset. It was a wonderful Christmas Eve. Grazie mille, Andre!

This activity was the highlight of my trip! Luciano, our driver was very friendly and professional. The winery that we visited was Podere La Marronaia. The place, the food and the wine were spectacular. Both Volterra and San Gimignano are beautiful towns. Although I would love to make another visit and stay for the night in San Gimignano to have more time to explore the town and stay longer in the winery, this is a very convenient option for a day trip form Florence. The price is excellent considering the private transportation and the quality of the food and wine.

Stephano our guide was fantastic , we thoroughly enjoyed the ride and the places we visited but especially Volterra because we had never been there before such an interesting medieval mountain top town. The wine tasty and lunch was very nice and the location was stunning. Would highly recommend this tour if you are in Florence and want to see some of Tuscany and the region of Pisa.
