Mercat de la Boqueria is a must-visit in Barcelona. I loved the variety of fresh juices and the incredible selection of spices. Eating fresh seafood directly at the countertop bars is a fun, authentic experience and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended for any food lover!

What a fun place to visit. Main products are the jamon iberico. When you see 100% , 95%, 50% , it means it is 100% full iberico breed or mixed. I am visiting in mid Jan, it is cherry 🍒 fruit seasons. The fruit stall in front of the main entrance has the best cherry 🍒, I think. We buy from other stalls too.

We like the lively atmosphere and visual appeal of the Mercat de la Boqueria. It is a feast for the senses, with colourful displays of fresh fruit, seafood, meats, cheeses, and local specialties such as jamón ibérico and fresh juices. For us, first-time visitors to Barcelona, it is a must-visit attraction, even if only to walk through and experience the energy of the market.
