Experience the fascinating history of Bisbee on a stroll through time that begins at the Grassy Park in front of the Bisbee Mining and Historical Museum in Old Town. This guided tour reveals the story of how Bisbee grew to become the largest and wealthiest city between St. Louis and San Francisco. Participants will learn about the lives of the men and women who frequented the saloon and bordello districts during the notorious Bisbee Noir period, a time marked by gambling, opium dens, and brothels. The tour provides a glimpse into the often wild, sometimes desperate, and occasionally tragic lives of Bisbee’s early residents. Walking up Brewery Gulch, visitors can picture the town as it once was, far from the clean and orderly streets seen today.
Discover the modern remnants of this colorful past as the tour concludes with visits to several present-day saloons, where adults can enjoy beverages in historic settings. Although this is not a ghost tour, the stories shared offer insight into why Bisbee is considered one of the Wild West’s most haunted towns. The tour emphasizes both historical facts and personal stories, providing a rich understanding of the town’s unique culture and the social dynamics of its early years. By exploring the sights and sounds of Old Town Bisbee, visitors gain a deeper appreciation for the community’s transformation and the legacy of its inhabitants. Each stop along the route combines education, entertainment, and a touch of intrigue, making this a memorable journey into the past.

Stayed one night in a suite room. Based on the very high online ratings, we expected a high-quality stay and attentive service. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We arrived around 6:00 p.m. when it was already dark. Upon entering the lobby, we saw a group of people dining, but no one acknowledged or welcomed us. After waiting for a while, I had to ask how to check in. A staff member came from the dining area to assist and informed us of a 5% gratuity charge for food service. The check-in staff member later appeared and helped with luggage only after we requested assistance. We were given two bento boxes, but no one helped deliver them to our room. The food was cold, and there was no assistance with drinks—everything had to be handled by ourselves. Breakfast the next morning was better in terms of food quality. Someone helped us place our order, but we still needed to refill drinks on our own. At checkout, we received only a brief “thank you,” with no further interaction. Overall, we did not feel welcomed during our stay. The room and the property itself were cozy and warm, but the service needs significant improvement. Given the price, the stay felt heavily overcharged for the level of service provided.

Such a relaxing stay! The room (Lookout) was spacious and offered a wonderful view of the coast. The bed was comfortable and we left the windows open to enjoy the sounds! The included breakfast and dinner was a plus as well. We'll definitely stay again.

Our stay was very disappointing. Even though our booking was prepaid, we were charged again at check-in, and the staff repeatedly told us to contact Expedia instead of resolving the issue themselves. The matter was only addressed by them and they reached out to refund me after we returned home, which was extremely frustrating. Additionally, our 4:30 pm spa appointment was cancelled without proper notice, we were celebrating my partner’s birthday, but unfortunately, the experience was ruined. Another dissapointment was that my dietary request to avoid red meat was completely ignored when dinner was served. The only positive was the gentleman at the bar during wine hour, who genuinely understood guest service. Overall, this is not the kind of experience you would expect for a special occasion, and future guests should be aware of these issues.

We chose Brewery Gulch for our honeymoon. Fantastic location. The evening hosted light meal and wine offering sets the visit apart. Our room was so comfortable. Quiet time on the deck to snack, chat, and look at the ocean view. Staff were very attentive. What a wonderful inn.

Heaven place. Usually, hotels are for rest, and we make sure it's clean and safe. But this place will completely change your concept of the vision of hotels. As I walked in, I met a beautiful and kind person with an honest smile on her face. She introduced herself as Issabel. She made you feel at home, and now it's time to rest. This hotel is so beautiful that you don't want to leave this place. Isabel showed us around and genuinely took care of us. We were so lucky to find this place. Dinner was served around 5:30, and the chef made fresh food for us. Breakfast is included, and it's delicious and presented beautifully. Isabel stayed completely involved with us. Usually, we drop bags and want to go outside, but leaving this place was hard. Thank God we were on the first floor with the ocean view. This place is a must-visit in Mendocino. You must go and share your thoughts with your family and friends. Thanks, Isabel. We miss you and can't wait to go back and see you.
