Kemi-Tornio: Resurrecting Rungius with Pick-Up

Rungius served as a vicar priest in the village during the sixteenth century and passed away in the early seventeenth century, yet remarkably, his body did not decompose. Visitors can view Rungius in his open coffin during the summer months inside the old St. Michael’s Church, experiencing a unique glimpse into local history and cultural heritage.
