Walked this with a mate both male 33-40 leaving from Pura Siwa, We took 2 hours to get to top. This was barely any stops. Ground was damp but not wet. If its raining allow a fair bit extra as the track would be a nightmare. The track goes basically straight up, no switchbacks. It's steep the whole way and large steps/climbs but it gets you there quickly. Fair bit of rubbish at top, and few dogs. No 360 degree views because scrub has grown up but good views nonetheless. We visited in July and didnt see one westerner. Fair few locals. Would definitely recommend. If your quite unfit allow probably minimum 6 hours. It's 1100m elevation gained in about 4km. L

What a beautiful view between Post 3 to above! The trees are amazing, the sound of the birds feels like I was listening to YouTube hehe... My first hike to this 2276m volcano (the 2nd highest in Bali after Mount Agung) Definitely not recommended for beginner 😆😆😆 Was good, fun even in the end my legs super sore can't walk for few days hehehe... But yeah NATURE SUPER AMAZING here! At night, during sunrise and until afternoon. We r lucky no rain during the hike until we arrived at the small warung. It should be only 4 hours to hike, but i took 6hrs. At least i finished it 😁

Best experience for hiking! We also met many friendly dogs here, they also guide us to the peak, don't forget to share foods with them. The hiking path was amazing, fresh air and green, don't forget to always ask for safety and don't talk nonsense during the hiking. We started from 7:30 am at Pura Malen and got to the top around 1:00 pm. And we get to the bottom around 7:00 pm. What a great experience! Planning to hiking again in the future!
