We did not stay at this resort but visited for the day with their “pool pass”. This cost LKR2,000/pax and gave us access to the pool, sun beds/loungers as well as a towel. We had a great location at the pool overlooking Turtle point, a small bay where you can snorkel and observe turtle and other wildlife. From the pool side I observed juvenile black tip reef sharks in the reef area. The loungers were wooden and my back rest had seen better days and was in need of repair/replacement. I’m not sure wood is a good choice of product for beach side use. The service was good and in typical Sri Lankan style where nothing is done in a hurry. That’s ok by me. We had lunch a tuna sandwich LKR 1,800 and chicken noodle soup LKR 1,700. Iced coffee was LKR1,100 and bottled water was LKR850. The food is nothing special but very good for western style food in Sri Lanka if not a little cold. I was offered to buy the buffet which costs LKR 6,000/pax but is discounted by 25% to LKR 4,500. I was shown around by the chef and the food choice was amazing with a mix of international and Sri Lankan dishes. At the discounted price it would definitely be worth it, a great deal. I did not choose that so cannot vouch for the quality of the food. It looked good though. Overall I would recommend a day visit here if you are staying nearby. There is also access to a private beach if you want, but it is a short walk away from the pool.
Recently, we arranged a short getaway for my parents to celebrate my mother’s birthday, and the entire experience was absolutely wonderful. All arrangements were handled through WhatsApp, and from the very beginning, we received amazing support from Sudesh Madushan, Front Office Supervisor. He was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive throughout the process. He went above and beyond by arranging a beautifully decorated room for my parents and even upgrading them to a higher room category, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. My parents felt genuinely cared for and thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The hospitality, service, and overall experience at the hotel were excellent, and it truly made my mother’s birthday extra special. Unfortunately, my parents couldn’t take a photo with Sudesh, but that doesn’t take away from the outstanding service and warmth he showed. A big thank you to Sudesh and the entire hotel team for creating such a memorable experience. Highly recommended!
This hotel located in best place in the down south. The rooms were clean and staff was really friendly. They always willing to help, which made the experience ever better. Food was amazing. Specially I like to mention about the reception staff they were professional and smiling every time. And we can see the turtles near the hotel beach.if we staying in the room we feel it we in the ship. And we can see nice sun set in the evening. It was amazing memories in my life. Perfect place to spend the time.
