Cachoeira Tabuleiro 01 day

The day trip begins with a visit to the highest waterfall of Minas Gerais, the Tabuleiro, with 273 meters of fall. It is one of the seven wonders of the Estrada Real and is located in the Tabuleiro district of Conceição do Mato Dentro. The waterfall is in Serra do Intendente and inside a natural park that is part of the Espinhaço mountain complex, recognized as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 2005. Visitors can enjoy the lower part of the waterfall in Ribeirão do Carmo, reaching the natural pool and passing by a lookout. There will be free time for photos, swimming, resting, and tasting snacks during the trail.

After the waterfall visit, lunch is included in the Tabuleiro district. On the way back to Belo Horizonte or Confins airport, the trip stops in Conceição for a visit to a local shop to buy cheese, sweets, and regional delicacies. The return journey passes through the Serra do Cipó with stops for photos at Juquinha and a scenic lookout.
